Dr. Umar Faruq Abd-Allah is one of the leading scholars of Islam in the West. A number of years ago he wrote a set of papers on various topics important for western Muslims.
When they are read systematically they address a core set of understandings that greatly facilitate a functional, grounded understanding of how Islam speaks to our realities. Â
