What you will learn

Many of us recite the words of ṣalāh every day, but we may not always understand the meanings, structure, and beauty of what we are saying before Allah.

This summer intensive is designed to help students build a foundational understanding of the Arabic used throughout ṣalāh. Under the guidance of Ustadh Omar, students will study the words and phrases they recite in prayer, learning not only their meanings, but also how they fit together grammatically and spiritually.

By the end of the program, students will walk away with a deeper connection to their daily worship and a clearer understanding of the Arabic within ṣalāh, from the opening takbīr to the closing salām.

Whether you are beginning your Arabic journey or hoping to make your prayer more present and meaningful, this course is an opportunity to move from reciting ṣalāh to understanding ṣalāh.
