Understanding the Sacred Law
In this course Shaykh Jamaal will take us through a study of what Islamic law is, how it developed, what the madhhabs are, and how to interact with them.
The course provides a framework for the more detailed fiqh classes that will come in terms 2 and 3. It also addresses many areas of misconceptions among Western Muslims.
The hope is that we leave with a better understanding of our tradition and how to interact with it.
